Me and my now grown up Molly at Carnival

Hi, I'm Katie designer and maker behind Molly's Mum Textiles.

My small business grew from a love of my daughter's simple doodles and my previous background in embroidered textiles. I am a self confessed fabric and haberdashery hoarder with a passion for rich colours and textures.

All my branding was designed by my daughter Molly when she was 5, even the handwriting is a font which was previously used by a games company!

I handmake all my products from my home studio in a village just outside Nottingham. Using an elderly Bernina sewing machine I had in the 90's when doing my degree in Textile design I love to create quirky textile based gifts, accessories and homewares.

I have designed for high street brands and often make bespoke custom orders.
